Formulating a Roadmap

In the growth and development stages of any organization there comes a moment that requires us to stop and think…about ourselves.

Who are we? What values do we strive to represent? Which obstacles and opportunities will we face? How can we achieve more?

Processes such as refining vision, strengthening internal collaborations, and driving continuous improvement-focused initiatives are the keys to realizing organizational potential and achieving business goals.

Efforts and courage are not enough without purpose and direction

What is the “organization’s story”? How are core values clarified and embedded into the organization’s DNA? While often underestimated, this is a complex and essential process that goes to the heart of the organization. This is not a “nice to have,” but a strategic foundation with direct impact on performance, retention, and sense of purpose. When handled superficially, even well-crafted narratives fail to create real change.

At Blat-Lapidot, we use a top-down methodology to shape a shared organizational narrative through a collective learning process. It begins with a senior leadership workshop that defines a clear vision and core values in a unified organizational language, and continues with practical tools and tailored support that enable managers to translate the vision into action across the organization.

This is one of the most effective tools for driving continuous improvement, fostering innovation, and removing technological or operational bottlenecks.

We support organizations in establishing and guiding task forces that lead practical, results-driven improvement processes. Teams work within a clear, structured methodology that defines goals, timelines, and ongoing dialogue with a steering committee.

The process unfolds in focused stages: setting the infrastructure and governance, forming and training the teams, structured teamwork over several months, followed by the implementation of solutions in the field, with defined success indicators and lessons learned. A second wave may be launched as needed.

When done well, the task force methodology consistently proves its power in addressing complex challenges that require fresh perspectives, cross-functional collaboration, and thinking beyond routine operations.

When people are involved in work processes, complexities naturally arise: interpersonal dynamics, differing agendas, gaps in expectations or perceptions of a role, and sometimes even hidden tensions. All of these can harm the effectiveness of the teams, and the ability of different units to work together in a coordinated manner.

As part of our organizational support, we offer a series of steps to strengthen teamwork and improve interaction and collaboration between units, departments, and levels (for example: headquarters and field).

Within this framework, we help teams to improve communication, strengthen trust, embrace effective tools for resolving conflicts, and build productive work routines. This assures that the joint work will be coordinated, flexible, done in a positive atmosphere, and will contribute to the success of the entire organization.
